Yesterday and today my strength have increased a great deal. I am still resting much of the day, but I feel better. No more stomach issues, and I have stopped taking the anti-nausea pills that have so many side effects. My mouth is starting to heal too.
I was able to eat 3 times yesterday. That is rare for me right now. Sometimes it is difficult to eat more than once, but I was actually hungry at 10:30pm last night, so I got out of bed and made food. I have been watching cooking shows a lot lately, trying to increase my appetite. It is working. It's funny how the chemo not only takes your appetite away, but it can make you actually feel a repulsion towards food. I am no longer feeling that. Thank you Food Network!
Kalynn is one of my dearest friends. Tonight, her oldest son is getting married. I am happy that I feel up to going to the reception for a bit. I missed his high school graduation party, and don't want to miss this.

It was so good to see you last night I'm glad you felt up to coming. I'm sorry your head hurts. I wonder if it might be a bit of a reaction to NOT taking the nausea pills? You have been on them for so long, maybe it's a part of coming off of all of the weird meds. Just a thought I had. Anyhoo... Love ya. Get better.
