I have been busy healing and trying to live a normal life again. I am getting my strength back and feeling very healthy. My stamina isn't near what it used to be, but I don't nap anymore and can do housework and some yard work. After about 20 minutes of weeding I am done, but it's nice to sit in the sun and do what I can. I have great neighbors and friends who have come and helped with the things I can't do. My boys have been a great help as well. Jon came over and dug a fire pit for me. There is still much work to be done around the pit. Weeds to be pulled. I need to till up the ground around it, and would like to plant some herbs and such. All I have out there is sage.
Chris is getting ready to go on a mission. He is about half way through with filling out the paperwork. He has started dental work too. He has to have his wisdom teeth removed before he goes. I am so proud of him. He has grown up so much in the last year. And will do so even more while he is away.
Thoughts I had today: Good family and good friends. Surround yourself with good people, and you will find yourself becoming a better person. Enjoy your family while you have them with you. Old people die. Young people move away. Love them while they are here. Be grateful for what you have and who you have. Recognize your blessings. Be thankful for them.
