The bag was removed today YAY! I am done with the first of three rounds of 5FU and Carboplatin. My chest is a bit sore, and I've lost my appetite, but otherwise feel ok. I am on massive anti-nausea meds so that hasn't been an issue. I don't like taking so many pills, however.
I have lost a bit of hearing again with this treatment. My doctor had already gone for the day, so I will let him know Monday. If he isn't concerned about it and wants to go ahead with the 2nd round, I will have an IV again on Feb 2 for 5 days.
I am ready to be done with this. Thankful that I am doing so well, but ready to be done.

I'm so happy that you are doing so well. Call me if you want to get out this week I could take you to lunch.
I'd like to get you some nutrition to keep your strength up. We could go to a movie too if your up to it.
