If it's not one thing...

The boys were in a bit of an accident tonight. Actually, it is morning now, so it would have been last night. Levi, Christopher and their half brother Ricky had just dropped Tyrel off at home when they were in a roll-over accident on the freeway.

Ricki will have a few bruises, but it otherwise fine.

Levi was taken to the American Fork Hospital where he received 15 or so stitches in his head and had some glass removed from his eye. His hand was also cut up pretty badly. He wasn't kept overnight and should heal up just fine.

Chris was taken to Utah Valley hospital because of concerns about internal injuries. His ribs are bruised and may have been fractured. His feet are pretty mangled (he wasn't wearing shoes) but will be ok. He has a gash on his head and his face is going to be bruised pretty badly. They did a CT scan on his stomach as he has a lot of pain in that area. Everything looks OK except his kidney. There is a section of it that isn't getting blood flow, so they will keep him overnight tonight and observe. He has a concussion, and seemed a bit out of it all night. I came home to get a bit of sleep tonight, and will go back early in the morning. Sierra is there with him tonight, but I am guessing that he will be sleeping.

Jared was kind enough to come drive me to the hospital(s). I was too shaken up to drive when I found out about it. I was pretty scared there for a bit. Nothing wrenches you quite like finding out that a loved one has been in an accident. I am so grateful that the boys are OK.

Chris asked for a blessing, so Max came and he and Jared administered to him. He is due to report to the Missionary Training Center in a couple of weeks (Nov 11). He had 4 more days of work left, but it looks like he won't be going back. He actually asked the doctors if he would be able to check out in time to make it to work on time tomorrow. I'm thinking he will be in bed for a couple of weeks!

I am heading to bed. It has been a long night!
